How the Aromatherapy Massage is performed
Once your therapist has blended the oils together to create a pleasant scent the massage can begin. It can be a full body massage, taking in the back, chest, arms, legs, head and stomach, or a simple back massage or even a facial beauty massage. Aromatherapy Massage is gentle, but firm, beginning with the back and legs. Then once these parts of the body have been worked on, the therapist will turn you over to focus on the front of the legs, arms and neck.
After-Effects of Aromatherapy
Massages affect people in different ways with some effects of an aromatherapy massage lasting up to 48 hours, depending on the oils used. The skin may feel slightly greasy and it is advisable not to drive or drink alcohol after massage. This is due to sleepiness from relaxing and the oils can make you feel a little light headed after one drink. A weekly massage is recommended to keep enjoying the easing of long term problems.
